We’re a few hours away from knowing the high school football playoff brackets in Nevada.
The regular season is coming to an end tonight with seeding still in question for many classifications. That’s especially true in the Class 5A, Division II.
Basic and Foothill are playing the Battle for Boulder Highway — the Henderson schools are located on opposite sides of Boulder Highway to create a natural rivalry — for the Division II title on the line. If Foothill wins, it is the league champion.
If Basic wins, it would create a three-way tie with Foothill and Faith Lutheran. Each would have one defeat — and against each other.
We’ll intangible the tiebreakers and await word on the seeding from the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association.
