Rainfall impacted many high school football games on Friday.
A few games were called off, and few others waited out weather delays. When the games started, the teams with strong rushing attacks thrived.
And when it comes to rushing the football, few do it better than Shadow Ridge, who tallied 495 yards on the ground in a 38-12 win over Desert Oasis.
Senior quarterback Coen Coloma had seven carries for 128 yards and two touchdowns, and Evan Cannon tallied 165 yards on just nine carries.
Shadow Ridge improved to 3-0 on the season.
