Boston Wren’s touchdown run late in the fourth quarter gave the Basic football team a 50-43 win against Las Vegas in a game that featured multiple lead changes.

The Basic defense gave up six touchdowns, but also had two of the biggest plays of the night. The first came on an interception return from Silvian David, and the second on an interception from defensive lineman Sean Riley at the Las Vegas 10-yard line to set-up the winning points in the final minute.

“Our offense picked us up,” coach Jeff Cahill said.

Quarterback Anthony Vega led the charge with three passing touchdowns and a rushing score, while Demarion Matthews had two touchdown receptions and Zuri Whiters also had a receiving score.
