Dawn Gibbons
Soon to be ex-Nevada first lady Dawn Gibbons is launching her new radio show with an interview with Democratic U.S. Sen. Harry Reid.
Gibbons tells the Reno Gazette-Journal that Reid will be calling into her show Tuesday from his southern Nevada home in Searchlight.
Gibbons' political talk show airs on KBZZ-AM 1270 at 7 a.m.
Gibbons and Republican Gov. Jim Gibbons reached a divorce settlement in December, though the divorce is not yet final.
Dawn Gibbons is among a group of Republicans who support Reid's re-election.
She says when she and her husband lived in Washington, D.C., the Reids offered to let them live in their basement so their son could go to a better school.
