Ayden Runnels is a graduate of Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas, where they were the editor-in-chief of their student-run campus newspaper, the North Texas Daily. They have also written for the Texas Tribune and Irving Rambler covering topics like healthcare access and LGBTQ+ issues.
