Yes I'm sad for the pilot's family. But I happen to live close to the Nellis runway. My house is sandwiched between the base and Frenchman mountain. I feel that all of the pilots like to push too hard on the throttle during take off and they are directly over my roof. I work 12 hours shifts and I need to go to sleep in the day time at around 5pm and those military jets keep me up. If I don't get any sleep I can't work. If I can't work I won't be able to pay the bills and survive. Surely there is something the AFB can do about this. The local government should have NEVER let the nearby homes be built. It should have been land set aside for horse ranches and agriculture.

The pilots should only take off heading North East and NOT South West where all the homes are.

Oh my goodness. I can't understand why a young man like that would want to ruin his whole life. Heaven only known where things started to go wrong in his life. Maybe it was bad parenting, or a jealous sibling, or who knows what.

Sounds to me like people here aren't praying hard enough. Here is one of my most favorite verse:

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

So in other words if the residents of Las Vegas were to only have faith and to ask heavenly father in good faith that our police department would be improved from bad to excellent and that our crime rate would drop. It would be pretty much guaranteed that we would all be blessed with such a gift. The only problem is you got to have faith first. You must first believe before you can make a difference.

Two words, "Green Energy". That will be one of the biggest industries that will help rebuild Las Vegas.

Metro police is by far the worst police department in the country. The Eric Scott case exemplifies the fact. Prayers to the family of Eric Scott.

Usually when it gets that hot in Los Angeles the power starts going out because the electrical grid can't handle the high power demand of every bodies air conditioner all running at the same time.

This is a very sad story. Please pray for this boy and his family.

Well people ware weary and doubtful of the local housing market now. But just watch, they will change their minds about it in the future.

If there were any justice at all in the United States. They would throw Mosher in Prison and throw away the key. But the States is not a "just" nation. The corrupt courts are obviously going to let these crooked cops go free so they can continue to murder innocent people who are trying to do the right thing like Scott. Even if it were accidental, it's still murder because they were the ones that shot him without any real justification at all. Even with the wife screaming "don't shoot, he's a concealed weapon holder". I'm sure these cops aren't deaf. Likely they took those jobs because of the fact that they get to shoot actual people. They get a "high" off of it. They are "sick". A lot of these cops were bullies when they were kids. And as adults, nothing has changed.

Will regular everyday people be allowed to attend the aviation conference? Is it open to the public? How much does it cost to attend? Is it free?
