First off, pistols are also weapons of killing just as much as assault weapons (whatever the heck those are). Secondly, Walsh needs to read the Second Amendment; it has nothing to do with hunting and everything to do with defense, or "killing," if you prefer.

There's a house built from three connected domes on Charleston, just west of Hollywood. I've heard that there's a house built under the Strip as a bomb shelter -- '50s ranch-style. The entrance is or was on a vacant lot. And my wife claims there is a house somewhere in town, that when seen from the air, resembles a part of the male anatomy.

If anyone ever wondered which way politically state workers tilt, here's your answer. Whatever you think of Palin or this driver, the idea that a state agency can forbid political speech (or, in this case, choose some political speech over others) is a clear violation of the First Amendment (and, yes, the Constitution supersedes state regulations).
The fact that the DMV is ignoring a decision by the court only makes matters worse.
Anyone who is on the DMV's side in this matter should really stop and reflect on their own attitudes and decide just how statist they truly are.

There are so many comments, forgive me if someone has already made this point, but shooting someone in the leg is hardly as safe as many here seem to think. I've seen someone die from being shot in the leg in about four minutes. The bullet hit a major artery and she bled out and died in the gutter. That is a very likely result, even if the cop could make what would be what would be a difficult shoot under the best of circumstances (no adreneline, target not moving, no distractions, etc.).

@boftx Actually, they're halfway there. Reid was not there in person. Instead, he was allowed to pretape his questions and answers before hand so voters were denied the chance to see him think on his feet.
