We should break out the shoulder pads and helmets like Oklahoma State used to do to make them more physical.

I think that UNR didnt exactly help him keep his commitment. If what is being said is true, these "nasty messages" left on his phone or the taking back of a scholarship, why would you stay committed to a program like that. I understand that commitment means Yes I will go to your school, but there has to be a breaking point. I think that his visit helped, but ultimately unr's coaches sealed the deal for navy.

UNR was the one who showed there true colors in this process packfan. When both recruits visited another school, UNR took back its offers. Where is the commitment to the players? It goes both ways, in college football coaches recruit players and leave for higher contracts, leaving the players sitting there. I guarantee if a bigger recruit would have come along, UNR would have told these kids see you later and used there scholarship. Nothing about a verbal is solid, and its good to see that these kids made the right choice.

I'm sorry, but I am behind this guy 100 percent. People in Montana are complaining that he couldn't win the national championship. HE GOT THEM THERE! I would love to hear what they have to say if the replacement doesn't do the same.

The truth is, he is coming to UNLV, where if he was to make a bowl game, it would be considered a success. Last time I checked, a national championship game loser, is better then a team that doesn't get there at all.

I think that we don't have the money to hire another rookie head coach or a coach without a track record of winning...

However, I think that boosters will actually come up with the money if a quality coach is hired.

There is Tommy Tubberville and John Gruden sitting out there waiting for a call.If Koloskie can hire one of those, he will get the AD job and the money will poor in.

its very simple, fans will come when they win. Look at basketball, when they werent good, no one came. Now they get 15,000. UNLV football wants support, start winning games they are supposed to.

I have gone to every football game and basketball game for the last 5 years, and I have come to realize that this is Las Vegas, people arent going to go watch the home team lose, so put up some W's and watch the masses come.

Oh you can not be serious. First off the "planes" were mercyair helicopters, almost like a private ambulance in the air....The county and city covering each station did not drop the response times in a way that would not be considered timely...it is no different then if an engine company was to go do training or community activites. There was no PTO. Everyone in a fire uniform was off of work that day. The city, county, and NLV firefigthers there were not on duty, and neither was Henderson that day. Jeff Man was a public servant who you didn't even concern yourself with untill he was gone, and the way you are acting is just disguisting
