The Electric Daisy Carnival makes its debut at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. The dance-music festival, expected to draw 250,000 people, runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

• Nights: Three. The music starts at 8 p.m. each night and goes until sunrise.
• Stages: Six, with names such as Kinetic Field, Neon Garden and Cosmic Meadow.
• DJs: 140, including Tiësto, Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia
• Attendees: 250,000
• Hours of music: 173.5
• Tickets: $215 for a three-day pass, $500 for a VIP pass.
• Venue size: 43.5 million square feet, 15 times larger than the Los Angeles Coliseum, which held last year’s event.
• Amusement rides: 25, including merry-go-rounds, a Ferris wheel and a small roller coaster.
• Art installations: 13
• Watering Stations: 96
• Medical staff: 70 to 80 caregivers on site, including six ER doctors.
• Ambulances: 14
• Parking spaces: 40,000
• Extra taxi cabs: 112
• Nevada Highway Patrol troopers: 60 extra troopers to help with traffic.
• Lowest average room rate on the Strip: $169 at Circus Circus.
• Highest average room rate on the Strip: $599 at the Venetian.
• Super 8 motel room rate: $189 per night for the motel three miles from the event (regularly $42).
