@El Lobo'
Thanks again for reminding us of idiots like "tail gunner" and of fair minded defenders of a seemingly lost American form, Hank Greenspun.

Him and Jimmy Rhodes. Does it ever end with generations of County Commissioners?? Annex ALL of this end of the LAS VEGAS STRIP to LAS VEGAS, get our airport to include the greeting LAS VEGAS and get Clark County off the signage. Las Vegas is the name, NOT Clark County. I remember times growing up their that gambling was considered an evil blight. Now everyone is on board the money machine. Las Vegas, annex all of Clark County you can.!!!!!!

Amen DrJCA1, (Joel). As Kevin Spacey said in his role as a top lobbyist. "If not for lobbyists the politicians wouldn't know what to do". This was just before he went off the deep end. We need to elect people (not LAWYERS with wanna be attitudes) with unfettered agendas and focus on their constituents (ALL Americans). Lobbyists are the most vile and unnecessary thieves in the history of American politics. Let's vote to outsource them overseas and share their hard work with the foreign elements who take advantage of cheap labor.

My, my. Lots of new players since I last commented. Looks like "Thumper" has been replaced by some "Joe" from Chicago.
@ Colin, Inside Job was very enlightening. The bad news is Obama has too many hold overs from Goldman-Sachs, DOJ and Bush II's administration. Must be that insecurity about "experience". Maybe during the 2nd term....
@El Lobo, Vernos, KSand,et.al. Sometimes I think you should have a larger audience so your passion is front page news nationwide. I learn a lot reading your posts and for the most part you back it up with verifiable facts(or at least what is available)and sources.
@ Michael Casler, you keep up the good work. We do need to all come together with moderation and level heads because first and foremost aren't we all Americans.
Viva Las Vegas

Now where is the usual snide, factless comment from divorce lawyer Mikegino??

Bob, Bob, Bob. Scored a lot of points and collected a posse along the way. Learned/ refined the art of the scam at a number of peoples' expense. Integrity and a mans' word are all one has. You and Thad allegedly had a great teacher but to forego the possibility of libel will go unnamed.

Finally, a few people that grasp the process; Mutt, FearNot etc.
A hard bid would be the reason to laugh all the way to the bank. T&M should be more effective since there will be many of those structures that will need just a cursory look and found to be stable. Grade rings,grout, asphalt patch,permits, traffic control etc. done by the entity that has inside knowledge of the process required. Do you think if this work was hard bid that they would give back the average cost per if nothing was found? And, if done right, we'll have a couple more people in the CCPW with confined space certs. Right On!!

Wondered where you got off to. Glad to hear you landed somewhere with positives. I am a native Las Vegan transplanted to AZ. Lots a good ol' boy attitude down here too. Now if a superintendents job comes along.....

realitychecknevada,
GREAT post, GREAT context. I saw that interview live and what an open and honest discussion.
How could anyone deny what has been wrought on the AMERICAN public through greed , cronyism and outright manipulation of and by our leaders. It goes WAY beyond investment rights and profitability. IT is ALL about controlling you and I and keeping us inline to gouge. 20%?? Most contractors work on a 3-5% profit margin.Can you say elitists!!!
